  1. Thanks for starting the ball rolling Andrew, i too have been following the thread.

    Its quite ironic in that i had only posted a enhancement request for mapserver (http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=1617) which touches on this very same subject.

    All in all, its a surprise that no one has flagged this as an issue with having a nonstandardised getFeatureInfo response.
